The Falls

Hi Everybody!!!!How are u??This post will be about my trip to Niagara.We went to Niagara Falls on a weekend.Though daddy Mummy took all of us when we were small...i dont remember anything much.So i'll relate what i felt now.It is just an awesome sight to see it...falls on 3 sides and we are in the centre in the boat!!wow...it was alomost like one of those motion pictures where we are in an adventure!!People say that a lady died there and her soul remains as a mist.Hence the name to the falls..''Maid of the Mist''.I didnt know any story related to the falls...There is a movie too there describing stories where people challenged the falls.In the beginning it was like a documentary..and i was feeling soooo sleepy...but later it held my interest.Pics of the trip!And yes..Indira Aunty and family visted us..so it was all the more memorable:-))

Of Museum,Statues and more

I,Adarsh and Gautam went to the Wax Museuem in New York and though it might not be comparable to the one in London (more of Shah Rukh,Aishwarya etc)..still this was very good!!We literally Imagined ourselves standing next to Angelina, Mahatma Gandhi and every 'one' who was there!!So here are the pics of the trip to New york-

Now this is an interesting episode...we wanted to go to The Statue of Liberty.They usually take people in a boat upto the statue where maybe we stand near its feet or something...Since it was a holiday,we got up late..and started late.Now the boat has timings and it closes at 5.Obviously we went after 5 and had to make do with watching it from the nearest distance possible.Adarsh told us that he would take us to a place from where we could watch the front side of the statue.(We were on the New Jersey side..not New York one)..We walked and walked and finally when we came to 'the place'...Miss Liberty still showed her back on us!!So here are the photos of The Statue from its behind!!Someday i'll post it from front too...hehehe!!

(oh..and this album does have pictures of Princeton University too...nothing much to say except that it looked like some Hogwarts castle!

The bitter curry...

Let me share few of my experiences...with me being such a great cook,it is inevitable to have memorable experiences in kitchen...Here is one of them...I once thought of making Anapkayi with nuvvulu poddi curry.I grinded nuvvulu (til) with red mirchi and added about 3-4 spoons to the curry thinking why the proper consistency is not coming as how mummy makes....finally i tasted it and it was soooooo bitter!!I didnt know where i went wrong.Later i spoke to Mummy and was relating this saying that nuvvulu were brown in colour.Adarsh heard it and said, ''you used menthi seeds!!!'' Thank Goodness i threw it then...saved my grace by not putting it for dinner...hehe!!
